The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.
Velkynvelve, drow slave camp outpost that ships slaves to Menzoberranzan.

And So It Begins:
Captured! Each adventurer was waylaid in their travels on the surface world by a band of Drow and brought to the outpost, Velkynvelve. One by one they were stripped of all their belongings and were left with only their underclothes to keep them from the chill of the underdark caverns. The outpost was a grouping of stalactites and a ledge in a casm strung together by rope bridges and only accessible by a bucket and rope ‘lift’ on the far end of the ledge. The commander of the outpost, Mistress Ilvara Mizzrym, keeps a close watch on her outpost and tells the prisoners to accept their fate, or they will wish they had.

The captives were brought out one by one to complete chores around the compound, such as operating the lift, scrubbing the dirty floors, disposing of chamber pots into the pool below the waterfall, or simply breaking rocks seemingly for no other purpose than to entertain the cruel Drow slavers. During these jobs some of the captives were able to secret away some semi-useful items and ended up hiding them around the slave pen they were being held in.

They were not the only beings being kept as potential slaves for the markets of Menzoberranzan. There were 10 others being held awaiting the arrival of a caravan that would take them to their final destination before being sold into slavery.

  • They met Buppido, a derro that seemed to be pleasant and agreeable to any idea brought up. He seemed to think everything was happening for a reason.
  • Next was Prince Derendil, who looked anything but a prince. Apparently claims to be a cursed High Elf Prince of a far off forest kingdom. Cursed by an evil wizard to the appearance of a quaggoth, he only seeks to be released from the curse and return to his people.
  • There was also Eldeth Feldrun a shield dwarf from Gauntlgrym. She was wanting nothing more than to return to the surface world and back to her home.
  • Jimjar the gambler and sly deep gnome, was repeatedly heard to make bets on anything and well… anything. He claimed to be from Blingdenstone and mentioned he doesn’t trust Topsy and Turvy.
  • The orc Ront’s war party was attacked and he alone survived. He said he fell into a hole and was forced to wander the underdark for days until he was captured by the drow slavers.
  • Sarith Kzekarit, himself a drow was accused of murdering another drow in a fit of rage. He himself claimed to have no memory of the incident and wants to escape and take his travelling companion, Stool, back to his home. He avoided talking to the other prisoners either due to haughtiness or his own puzzlement at his current predicament.
  • Stool is a sprout myconid. He is from the Neverlight Grove. He wants to return to his kin. jiggle
  • Shuushar, the Awakened as he referred to himself was a kuo-toa of remarkable sanity. He showed he is a pacifist and wants nothing to do with fighting. He was resigned to becoming a slave, and only went along with the plan of escape because everyone else was leaving. He claimed to be familiar with the area of the underdark around the Darklake and his kuo-toa village Sloobludop is located on it’s shore. He mentioned that the best route to get to the Neverlight Grove was by boat, and the best place to get boats was his village.
  • Topsy and Turvy were a pair of deep gnomes. Brother and sister, they were stuck together most of their time in the slave pen. Topsy usually had to translate for her brother because he was always mumbling and talking in low whispers. They were originally from Blingdenstone, but were more open to staying with the group.

After a week of work for most of the adventurers and other prisoners, Jorlan, the elite guard that had a maimed face mentioned to Sa’t’eev and Rha’taba, when no other drow were in earshot, “If I could offer you a means of escape, would you take it?”

Fearing a trap but at the same time with little else as a plan, they decide to go with Jorlan’s plan and make their escape after the iron gate was left unsecured and Jorlan set about distracting the other guards. Just as the band of prisoners attempt to leave their slave pen, other-worldly screeching and buzzing was heard throughout the cavern. Moments later demons fly by and appeared to be attacking each other. The alarm horns of the outpost sound as the demons notice the drow on the ledge during their fight and take their fight onto the ledge. Shouts and fighting can be heard amongst the demonic screeching and incessant buzzing that droned on as demon fought demon and drow alike.

The massive battle taking place grabbed the attention of most all the drow and allowed the group to cross the rope bridge into the first guard house stalactite where they noticed three drow getting weapons and gear to join the battle all around.

Thus the first session of this tale had come to an end… Tune in next week for the upcoming escape!

The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.
Velkynvelve, drow slave camp outpost that ships slaves to Menzoberranzan.

Onwards To Battle:
This battle probably won’t go down in the annals of history as being the most fair fight, but it was exhilarating. It took place between the eighteen prisoners being held in captivity and three drow guard that were unfortunate enough to be the last to get their gear after the alarm horns blew. The drow were just set to leave the guardhouse and head to the main battle to defend the outpost from the demon incursion when the door leading to the prison was opened and through with flowed the prisoners set for revenge.

While the battle was short in the sense of the time that passed from initiating combat to its conclusion, it seemed to last forever in the minds of those taking part.

The first thing the deep gnomes tried to do was blind the drow and put them at a huge disadvantage. One drow was successfully blinded by Topsy. Then the more formidable looking drow warrior lifted himself off the ground and shot at Rha’taba striking a wound and poisoning him with the drow poison. This was not enough poison to knock him out, but it was a serious wound.

After the blinded drow was critically punched by Sa’t’eev, he was blasted with a max damage firebolt from Katya and taken out of commision before even registering what was happening. With a resounding “Suck it!” from the sorceress.

Then Sarith blankets half the room in faerie fire and was able to light up the only living drow left on the ground while the floating elite drow was able to avoid being affected.

Rha’taba rushed into the room and attempted to use a nearby table to jump off of and grab the floating drow but was not able to get the reach needed to bring him down.

The third drow guard was wounded by the quaggoth, Prince Derendil feeling his quaggoth side taking over in the heat of battle.

Turvy rushed into the room next and attempted to blind the floating drow but was unsuccessful.

The barbarian Tabi sprints past everyone to get closer to the battle and prepares to do battle.

Ront wants to take down the floating drow and runs under him to get in position to climb the rope ladder. Ront attempts to punch the drow on his level and gets entangled in the ladder.

Usef enters the room heals Rha’taba then brings holy flame to damage the elite drow floating over the combat.

Jimjar got in a good position to blind the drow guard and successfully blinded the drow on the ground who swings wildly at the quaggoth and was able to cause damage even while blinded.

Topsy threatens the drow to surrender or they will “bury you under our bodies!” then proceeded to blind the elite warrior.

Birdy enters the room and attempts to cast charm person on the elite drow warrior and was not able to land it successfully.

The next moment the entire room went dark from a darkness spell.

With some shuffling about and muttering about the darkness, Rha’taba was able to strike a blow against the drow guard in the darkness. Prince Derendil, hearing the impact and ‘umpf’ directly in front of him, he slashes out taking the drow guard down with a solid blow.

Some maneuvering took place next as the prisoners search for where the elite drow went. Sa’t’eev and Tabi were able to pick up shortswords from the two drow guards to arm themselves. Rha’taba was able to locate and arm himself with a dropped hand crossbow and some bolts.

Ront, Usef, Jimjar, and Morohtar eventually scramble up to the second floor and begin searching the armory for arms and armor. They were looking for their personal effects, and unable to find them up in the armory.

Just as Turvy, Tabi and Birdy exit the room through the only other door and take up positions outside on the other rope bridge. Birdy considered advancing to the next stalactite in search of their possessions but was held up by Tabi who mentioned it was not wise to separate and go out on her own.

The group up in the armory began searching through the chests and were finding armor and other adventuring gear, but none of it was their personal items so far.

Those standing out on the rope bridge were then surprised to see the remaining drow step out of the darkness right in front of them. Still blinded and unable to know for sure who it was on the bridge, the drow lashed out at Turvy and missed him. Turvy backed away from the blind drow and allowed Tabi to step up and intercede. Shortly after, Sa’t’eev, Buppido, Katya, Rha’taba, and Katyr all come out behind the drow and attempt to trap the drow between the two groups. Katya blasted the drow in the back with a firebolt and suddenly the darkness in the room went away.

The end of the battle came by the words of Birdy moments later when she was successful in her casting of Charm Person on the drow making him become her friend. After some tense moments the party was able to interrogate their new ‘friend’, Balok, about the location of their personal effects. He told them they should be in the High Priestesses chambers somewhere. Since they didn’t know if she was currently in her chamber or out fighting the demons, they sent Balok in to see if she was there.

While waiting for the drow to return, they passed out the weapons and armor they found in the armory above the guardhouse.

Tune in next week to find out if they are successful in retrieving their personal items and what they will do next!

The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.
Velkynvelve, drow slave camp outpost that ships slaves to Menzoberranzan.

Flee From Velkynvelve:
After passing out gear they found in the armory, Balok the charmed drow elite warrior came back with news that Ilvara was not in her room. After the group inquire about their belongings, he says he could not see their items, but Ilvara does have a locked chest in her room. The party decided they would have to go in and ‘pick’ the chest and retrieve their gear. Leaving Balok as a lookout outside the entrance to warn if the nearby demon-drow battle comes closer, the party enters the upper room across the spidersilk rope bridge.

Upon entering the stalactite, they are greeted by a giant spider statue that was so lifelike that it was mistaken for a real spider and was fired upon by the first two that entered. Usef believed this room was a shrine to Lolth, the spider queen that the drow worship. After only glancing around the room for a moment and finding the ladder that heads down to the next level, the party started heading in that direction when Rha’taba spotted movement coming from the stack of pillows on one side of the room. From those pillows a real giant spider came and attacked the party.

After the guardian of the shrine was defeated, the party went below into Ilvara’s private chamber to search for their belongings. All except Usef, who saw the shrine as an affront to his beliefs and began hammering at the statue head with the metal bar he was carrying around.

Meanwhile, in Ilvara’s chamber, Rha’taba and Morohtar fashion a crude set of lock picks to try to gain access to Ilvara’s personal chest. After close inspection and determining there were not any traps, Morohtar successfully unlocks the chest, but not before a poison needle pokes his finger. After the initial shock of the presence of the needle wanes, Morohtar acts quickly and does not succumb to the drow poison that was on the needle.

Upon opening the chest, the party discovered many of their belongings among some personal gear of Ilvara’s. They passed out the gear and helped themselves to Ilvara’s possessions, then quickly searched the room below. They found a chest and after discovering it also had a poison needle trap like Ilvara’s, they jammed a shortsword into the lock which caused the needle to trigger, harming no one. Unfortunately this must have damaged the lock somewhat, because when the rogue attempted to pick the lock he critically failed, breaking the lock completely.

Not wanting to let that be the end, they attempted to pick up and see how heavy the chest was, and Usef heard tinkling of glass and sloshing of a large quantity of liquid from inside. Most of the party decide the chest isn’t worth the effort after trying to smash the lock open, hearing glass break. Sa’t’eev, even after hearing shouts from above that the battle is getting closer, refuses to let the chest be without hacking at it with his shortsword and trying to pry at the iron bound chest to gain access. In frustration, he slammed the chest down, breaking whatever was still in the chest, before finally leaving.

With a couple demons coming around the bend along the ledge the party decided it was time to descend into the pool below and make good their escape. While the group was discussing their possible next destination some of them notice movement in the pool. Sarith explained that there is a grey ooze that lives in the pool and feeds on the refuse that the outpost above drops into the pool. He also mentioned that it shouldn’t be aggressive. As the party discussed possible routes further the ooze came out of the pool and attacked Ront, causing the rest of the group to beat the ooze into paste. Just as the ooze was dying, everyone heard in their head the statement ‘Flesh for the Faceless Lord!‘ Sa’t’eev noticed that the metal of his shortsword was slightly corroded from when the ooze was struck.

The party finally decided that they would head to Shuushar’s village of Sloobludop. Shuushar believed that the western exit from the chasm would lead in the direction of Darklake, the shore of which resides his village.

Just as they were about to leave the area, a wounded Vrok crash landed in front of them right in their path. As it regained its footing and stood up, Rha’taba attempted to speak with it, although in the language of its eternal enemies, Infernal. This pulled the attention of the Vrok away from the battle overhead it was focusing on and it noticed the party for the first time. In the demon’s own language, Sa’t’eev attempted to convince it to let them pass as they did not want to fight with the powerful demon, even in its weakened state. The demon replied that they were ‘beneath its notice’ and it flew back up into the battle above. Since their way became unblocked, the group left the chasm with all haste and began their journey towards Darklake and the Kuo-toa village of Sloobludop.

The first day they came upon a deep ravine with a barely-there ledge they were forced to traverse if they didn’t want to backtrack far out of their way. They had the bright idea to tie each member to another in a line and go slowly together as a group. The ledge was 18 inches wide at some points and many of the team lost their footing, only to have those around them pull them back up so they could continue along. Because of their proper prior planning, no one fell to their deaths. Even though it was arduous to get past this obstacle.

However, this did slow the party down enough for the forward scouts of the pursuing drow to catch up with them. During their second watch that was posted while they tried to rest, the posted watch spotted the scouts creeping up to the camp and a battle broke out! After a few brief clashes Rha’taba was cut down by a grievous wound from one of the scouts!

Will they be recaptured when the full drow force shows up? Will they try to stand and fight? Will they flee for their lives running from their pursuers? Find out next week!

The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.

Journey To The Darklake:
As the battle continued, the party had more members coming awake and responding to help out. The tide turned and three of the drow were brought low. As the last visible drow was blown back with a thunderwave from Birdy, she heard a familiar voice coming from further down the tunnel. Everyone heard Balok shout to fall back, their location was noted and soon Ilvara would be arriving personally.

Figuring they would not be able to take on Ilvara and her entourage, the group quickly grabbed their belongings and fled. Still exhausted from a full day’s travel, they did manage a short break to rest and get their bearings. Taking a faster pace the second ‘day’ on the run in the underdark, they managed to keep ahead of the pursuing drow priestess and her group.

While they were travelling through a seemingly unremarkable tunnel that looked just like every other tunnel they have gone through the ground violently shook a few times in succession. Suddenly a fissure opened up behind the group and a lava flow poured into the tunnel, filling the tunnel and quickly overtaking the party. They ran as fast as they could but some were not able to stay ahead of the molten rock. Eldeth was the first to be overtaken, and was not even able to scream as the flow enveloped her all at once. Everyone was running for their lives. Katya tripped, and Buppido appeared to attempt to help, but instead pushed her back further. Usef noticed this and tackled Buppido allowing Katya to get up and keep ahead of the wall of death approaching. Usef and Buppido were soon gone forever. The rest of the party were able to make it to safety and started to look for a good place to stop and rest and recover.

While scouting around looking for a safe location they were able to find a small pond and some fungus around for food. After scavenging the area and collecting food, the party noticed a group of drow moving through the area, three of which were riding on giant lizards. The group of drow introduced themselves as traders and offered to sell the party some equipment, if they had anything of value to trade. The drow looked the party up and down and noticed they were mostly in their underclothes and poorly equipped for strolling through the underdark. The traders were somewhat generous with their trades (uncharacteristic for drow) and a few items were purchased The party quickly figured out that they were going to be ‘sold out’ to the drow party chasing them at the first opportunity. Unable to afford the price it would cost to keep the traders silent, the party prudently decided to move on and go find a better location to rest and recover.

They found a somewhat secure location to rest and camped out for the ‘night’. When they awoke the next morning they found that Sa’t’eev had vanished leaving behind a note and some of his gear wrapped in a leathery mushroom skin.

Note from Sa’t’eev’s journal:

  • … Not long after we came across a group Drow merchants. I was able to get a long bow and some arrows from them with My resources. I think soon, I’ll make My way back to the surface. I hate to leave these fellers, they seem like good people. However, I feel my calling is elsewhere. I wish them well in their future travels. May Sylvanus keep and protect them.

Accepting the loss of yet another member of their traveling group, they mournfully continued on the path leading to the Darklake and Shuushar’s village.

After a few more days of travel, and surprisingly nothing unusual happened during their voyage, they finally came to a tunnel that was completely blocked off by thick layers of webbing.

The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.

Journey To The Darklake II (The Darkening):
The webbing had everyone on edge, and scanning their surroundings for any sign of the creatures that might have made the webs. They moved slowly and methodically burning away the thick strands and pressing through the dark passages. In one of the areas they came across that was widened out a bit, Rha’taba happened to notice movement along the ceiling and warned the party that there was a ‘worm-like’ creature with five foot long tentacles writhing around from what appeared to be the head. They had come across a Carrion Crawler using the area to scavenge for food. It dropped from the ceiling and tried to paralyze and bite anyone in its range, but was quickly taken out by the party in a matter of seconds.

With that danger out of the way, they continued for the rest of the day, and once they left the web congested area, found a suitable place to rest for a few hours. They seemed to be keeping their same luck and went unmolested during the night and the next ‘day’ they continued on, getting closer and closer to Shuushar’s village. Shuushar mentioned that they should be close to the village with one more day of travel.

Fortunately, a very secure looking shelter was found for the group to take a rest before continuing on. However, upon investigating the shelter it was discovered that there was a Beholder currently in residence. A few were able to identify the creature as actually being a Gas Spore, which look very similar to a Beholder. As most of the party fled the area, Rha’taba shot the Gas Spore from a distance and popped it, preventing anyone from being exposed to the diseased gas. After letting the shelter air out for a while, the party made camp and spent the ‘night’ secure and unharmed.

The next morning Shuushar began leading them the final leg to his village, Sloobludop. When the party was only an hour outside the village, they were met by a patrol of Kuo-toa. The party tried to parley with the patrol, but the patrol seemed set on confrontation. The Kuo-toa formation was charged by Ront who was quickly snared in a net. Battle was joined by the rest of the party as the patrol advanced and began catching them in nets. During the battle, the Kuo-toa were heard to shout ‘For the Deep Father!’ a number of times. Part way through the fight, another patrol appeared and joined in as well. The group of escaped prisoners fearing being quickly outnumbered fought back and killed a couple of the patrol as Ront was knocked unconscious.

Will they be able to get to Sloobludop on their own power, or will they be brought before whoever or whatever this ‘Deep Father’ is? Find out next session!

Katya, the tiefling sorcerer (flinger of insults) – played by @ChopChopJapchae

The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.
Sloobludop, Kou-toa village on the shore of the Darklake.

Village of the Damned

The Kuo-toa patrols put up a tough fight. The second patrol moved in like a great wave and began knocking out the party one by one. At some point, Birdy shapechanged into a brown bear and started to push them back. Eventually she was overcome as well, and knocked out. Not wanting to be captured yet again, each member of the group fought back against the fishy people.

The battle only lasted for a few minutes but in terms of the perspective of the party it felt like it lasted for hours. One by one the group of ex-prisoners were being taken down and knocked unconscious for some purpose. The Kuo-toa were shouting ‘For the Deep Father!’ a number of times during the battle, and the party could only guess as to what purpose this ‘Deep Father’ had in their capture. Eventually, there were only a handful of them left standing as Katyr heard the stamping of flippered feet rushing down the tunnel in their direction. All seemed at a loss. But Katyr resolved to fight to the last and not be taken while still standing.

Another larger group of Kuo-toa entered the scene and rushed past Katyr to surround the remaining Kuo-toa enemies while the leader of this new group cast Mass Cure Wounds to heal the fallen companions. The leader introduced himself as Ploopploopeen, an archpriest of the village and that they were there to help.

Ploopploopeen explained that he was the leader of the village until a few weeks ago when his daughter Bloopblippoodd began a new religion worshiping the Deep Father, Leemooggoogoon, splitting the village into two factions. His side worshiped the existing religion of the Sea Mother, and half the village were swayed into worshiping the new god. He claimed that his daughter’s faction were sacrificing many humanoids at her altar near the lake quite frequently and the patrols that attacked them were intent on taking them to this fate.

Ploopploopeen had a plan, however, to attempt to reclaim leadership of the village and return it to the ‘proper’ worship. He explained that he would inform his daughter that he was willing to join her side and present the party as an offering for sacrifice at the next ritual the following day. When they would be brought to the ritual (with all their gear) he would surprise his daughter once he and his people were in position and take the faction out. He asked for their support in this plan and the party agreed to help. He believed that taking out the head of the cult would sway many of the rival faction back into the fold, and those who didn’t return would be dealt with.

The archpriest and one of his sons Glooglugogg, along with some guards escorted the ‘potential sacrifices’ to the ritual area and presented them as his peace offering to join her religion. He explained that they accepted her supremacy and hoped the offering of the sacrifices would be accepted.

Blooppblippodd seemed pleased that her father decided to stop fighting her and accepted the offering and had her guards line them up in front of the altar to prepare them to be sacrificed.

When the Sea Mother’s archpriest was in position he struck the first blow knocking his daughter down and striking her with lethal intent. Those of his worshipers also attacked her guard with surprise and an intense battle broke out. The party joined in the fray taking out any enemies they could.

Some of the rival faction of Deep Father worshipers upon seeing their leader fall attempted to flee. While some ran into the village to try to escape, some tried to flee into the safety of the darklake nearby. Once they submerged into the lake, however, they were attacked by something beneath the surface and the waters began to be filled with their blood. A few moments later, much farther out in the lake, the water began to writhe and churn as if something big was underneath coming to the surface. A huge figure rose from the depths of the lake towering at least 30 feet above the surface and moving toward the village. It let out a roar from one of it’s heads and cries of “Leemooggoogoon! Leemooggoogoon!” were heard from some of the Kuo-toa surrounding the area. Their ‘god’ had arisen. The monstrosity had two baboon heads and an ape-like body that sprouted two tentacles from each shoulder and thrashed in the water as it moved ever closer.

Chaos itself in material form was approaching.

The village was doomed.

Demogorgon the Prince of Demons has come.

The Setting
The Underdark, far beneath the surface of the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms.
Sloobludop, Kou-toa village on the shore of the Darklake.

Chaos in the Village
The Prince of Demons waded into the village docks with murder in its eyes and striking fear and madness upon those who saw what was coming. The stunned Kuo-toa kept chanting and groveling. Those in the party that were not affected by the madness helped the few they could reach in time and fled the docks with all haste. Sarith went to Rha’taba and slapped him out of his paralysis and started to the agreed upon meeting place, the archpriest’s hut. Katya shouted ‘RUN!’ to anyone who could hear and immediately fled the docks. Ront began a frenzy, attacking the nearest living being one after another. He struck Sarith in the shoulder as the drow ran by. Katyr moved to help Morohtar who appeared to be in a daze and was doing what anyone told him to do. Birdy was still in her bear form and ran over to attempt to help Tabi, when Tabi just took off running at top speed away from the docks. She checked on Prince Derendil and saw that he was swatting at foes that appeared to not be there. Topsy bent down and began eating the soil in a vain attempt to satiate her madness induced appetite. Her brother Turvy passed out completely overwhelmed. Jimjar began screaming, laughing and crying hysterically seemingly all at the same time. Seeing that very few were able to be saved and having Ront attack and attempt to kill her, Birdy went in the direction that Tabi fled and caught up with her.

Demogorgon reached the shore and began eliminating everything it could see. First the crying screams of Jimjar were silenced suddenly as the space he occupied a moment ago was crushed by a tentacle. Then, Ront was turned into a bloody mist as he was swatted by a different tentacle. The Prince of Demons made short work of anyone remaining at the docks over the next couple of minutes.

After meeting back at the hut of the Kuo-toa archpriest, they were able to gather Stool, and talk to Shuushar. Shuushar explained that he would flee the area and attempt to rebuild the village after coming back if there were enough villagers left and bid the party farewell. Sarith noticed some potions and bags of coins at a small altar in the hut and mentions it to the party who then grab what they can before leaving the hut and fleeing the village out the south west gate.

Just outside the gate, they came upon Hemeth, the dreugar that was about to be sacrificed at the altar of the Deep Father just before the fighting broke out with the party. He was collapsed on the ground still attempting to run, but too exhausted to do so. They party calmed him down and realized he was in the same state as Morohtar, and would follow their direction.

After what felt like hours, but was more like minutes, the madness effects wore off and the party took refuge to assess their situation and come up with a new plan on where to go next. Feeling that the lake was now the most dangerous path to get to the Neverlight grove, they changed their route to head around the Darklake and to the dreugar city of Gracklstugh.

Session ???
Still trying to get to under_town...

to find a cleric to help bring back Katya to us. And finally, we might get to really rest for a moment. However, we would still have to be careful in the light that we could be caught again! nope Nope NOPE! NOPITY NOPE!

We’ve been meeting other travelers here in the dark as we continue trudging along. The new guy we met recently was an interesting Trog guy who was studying the evil and demon craziness that has begun to wrinkle through the under and spread like fungus. He mentions there are 4 other members of his that he is also looking for. They are researchers and have come together to share their skills to further their understandings of the below.
